Just a note about me…

I began my love of needlework at the ripe old age of four when my grandmother taught me how to knit and crochet. Trying one needle art form after another, I eventually found my forte in cross stitch design. Three years ago I painstakingly chose the color of each stitch for my first image. I truly enjoy preserving my province’s rich heritage in cross stitch.

I was born in Minto, New Brunswick, lived in Chipman for 6 years and moved to the Saint John area at the age of seven. I have a Bachelor of Teaching degree, and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of New Brunswick, and have taught in the New Brunswick school system for many years.
